My vote is for the RKC. You can change the look of the bike so easily. Plus in my opinion it is traditional Harley old style look. I may get an EG or UC some day but I will be much older at that point.............he, he, he...........

Irecently boughtan '04 Road King Custom and love the hell out of it! I think it fits me perfectly. With that said, the Street Glide is one of my favorite bikes. I've never ridden one, though. I'm going by looks only. However, the point of riding to me is to get away from the radio, the cell phone, etc... I don't want all of that stuff. I want to cruise and let my mind wander (while watching for cars.)

A buddy has a new Street Glide and we compared them side-by-side. They look like the same bike to us with the addition of painted hard bags and the fairing.

This might hurt but,
if you want to listen to the radio (mp3,disc,etc)
take the car. Listen to the sound of your bike
on the road

just my opinion
:P

RK or EG would be my choice. For me it has to have passing lights to have that Harley look. As far as radio I don’t listing to one in my cage but wife has one on all the time.

Alright... Here's My $0.02...

Road King and Street Glide... Pritty much the SAME BIKE...

The Street Glide comes with a FIXEDFairing and Radio but withoutSpotlights, Saddle Bag Crashbars, and Lighted Fender Tips...The Road King comes with a REMOVABLE Windshield, Spot Lights, Saddlebad Crash Guards, and the Lighted Fender Tipsbut without the Fairing and Radio...

So... Buy The ROAD KING and then buy an AFTERMARKET QUICK DETACHABLE FAIRING and you have still saved yourself a few bucks and got MORE (the option ofchange...Fairing or No Fairingin 30 seconds FLAT), you also GET the Spotlights, Saddlebag Crash Bars and Lighted Fender Tips!!!

I have a Road King and am just about ready to get a Fairing!!!

I have ridden both, and I will tell you that the Street Glide is a nice option. The fairing is very nice and like others ahve said the option to have music is incredible... I never would of thought that I would be saying that!
Your Fatboy is VERY sharp. Hopefully you will be able to sell it and get what you want so you can purchase a new baby!
Good luck!
