First ride was April 6th, scheduling 5000 mile check this Saturday morning.
Only problem I had was my Neutral light was also letting me know when I was in 3rd gear.
Otherwise my 1st Harley is awesome.
It's not the same as my 900Z1 or V65 Magna was butneither am I.
I have had mine since November, over 8500 miles. The only problem was a rear turn signal bulb going out. I think like the second post, you may be trolling [:-]
4,000 delightful troublefree miles on my '08 Ultra. The bike came with a leaky rear shock, which the dealer fixed when I took it in for the Stage 1 upgrade. I'm really happy with everything.
The newer FLHTCUI's (2006 and up) don't have any cam chain problems. H-D fixed that. I've put many a mile on baggers since 2002 and there are not really any issues on the stock bikes other than running lean and hot (thank you EPA). There are many fixes out there for these problems.
This is a great thread to read as I get ready to plop down my money on an new Ultra. I just have to figure out if I should wait a little longer and see if the MoCo is going to give any decent rebates.
