No problems here either. Most of the unsatisfied 08 owners are the ones that dont have one..................
Ain't that the truth!
Agree! Can`t wait til I get my 2009 SG next year!

The only problem I've had with my Ultra originate from this forum; I keep spending money. MeanCity Cycles seat upgrade, heat shields from RJS, HogTunes, IEDs, CeeBaily windshield (this week), Radio Shack siren, and the list goes on. The bike is great. Go ahead, I can't believe you will regret it.

Mine has over 2500 miles and not any problems. I highly suggest the ABS brakes.

Picked my 2008 Ultra up 3 Apr 2008. Have 2200 miles on it. Not a single issue with the bike. I've been cussing the weather man though.

Strongly recommend the ABS brakes. They are awesome.

I bought a 08 Ultra w/ABS on 10/10/07 & have 13,500 miles on it.I will be headed for the east coast in a month or so & will put around 8-9K on that trip.It is the best new HD I have owned to date.I did have a fuel pump go bad(cracked/defect) & the bearing in the IDS fail.Otherwise,I love it.Regards,Tom

got my money from bank this morning for a new ULTRA. but now that i am fixing to to get it all the people i know start telling me that ULTRAs are having alot of issues for repair. bad starting , cam chains failure @ 20,000 miles, & FBW probs. Can any one give some insight, or are my friends just jealous because they want instead of their 80 DG's. thanks for any opinions that are out there. It's going to be the Suede blue pearl&black W/ wire wheeels, Damn its PRETTY.

When I upgraded last September I had the same concerns and ended up going with a used low milage (2182 miles) 1998 Ultra (last year of the long run of the well spoken of EVO motor.) Not crazy about EFI but so far so good. Not knocken thetwin cam,96inch,6 speed motor just didn't know enough about it to commit large amounts of $$$.

While not state of the art by modern standards it was an upgrade in technology compared to my 1983 FL and I like it alot.

I have enjoyed almost 7,000 troublefree miles on my '08. It's a great ride. I did have a bad battery, however, and my dealer replaced it with no questions asked.
