Anyone install a V&H fuelpack on an 08?
Hey everyone,
I have a set of vh slip on's on the way and will be looking for a fuel pack or PC3 in the near future. I was wondering how hard the install is for the fuelpack? I didn't know if you had to reset the throttle like I've read on the pc3's as well. Thanks.

I went with the FuelPak on my '08 RK with Arlen Ness Big Sucker and Rush slipons. The install forthe FuelPak is pretty simple. Remove the seat and left side cover, unplug the ECM, plug the FuelPak in between the stock harness and ECM, attach the FuelPak monitor to the fuse box, turn on the key, punch in your map, shut it off, put the side cover and seat on, start up, ride away. Total time, maybe 15 minutes. Oh yeah, you need to unscrew the cover on the FuelPak to punch in the map and then put it back on, so I could be off a minute or two.

I installed the fuelpak. Just plug it in to the ECM then punch in the settings for your
combination of pipes/AC. On my RK adding the Fuelpak connection to the ECM resulted in a very tight fit. It lays in the battery tray under the seat. It actually is a bit to long and does not sit flush.Anyway, go to the Vance & Hines website and you can view the install instructions.

Yea, mine didnt fit perfect either and there are a few more wires on an EG under the seat so it took me about 20 to 25 mins. to get everything nice. I am extremly happy with my choice, the bike runs great! I have had bikes with stage 1 and SERT and this 1 runs the best and cost the least.
