RE: what is the best laydown led tail light set up?
I recently switched from the Kuryakyn smoke laydown to the Radiantz smoke laydown because I had read so many rave reviews of how bright the Rad units are (the Rad was well over $100)
I can't say I'm overly impressed however, Rad customer service is awful (the part took just shy of a month to come with no explanation whatever on their part + there was a wire broken off when I opened the undamaged factory packaging). Not only that, the Rad sticks out quite a bit farther so the Kuryakyn part is better looking IMHO.
The real kick in the butt however is, the Rad doesn't even look any brighter. The Rad may measure a little brighter, but it sure doesn't look any brighter to me. If I had it to do over, I would definitely stick with the K unit & that's what I will recommend to other people.

RE: what is the best laydown led tail light set up?
HD just came out with a LED Tail Lamp (not a laydown thou) for the SG. I just ordered the Smoked Lens with Black Housing (68118-08) from Chicago HDon-line. It was a special order so won't have it for a couple of weeks, at least. The display in the local stealer-ship was impressive.
