Just so you know the sound will dominate out of the rightside ALOT more then the left.

I hated it and decided on tru duals.

I am not a fan of SE pipes, sorry. I have Sampson's on my 05 Road King and love them. If I had to do it over again I would go to the 2 in to 1 for better perfomance. But that is me I am always looking for more HP.

For what its worth..............

I had the SE mufflers $429.95 (#80463-06) with the Billet end caps $64.95 X 2(#65067-01) installed on my bike before delivery. When I went to pick up the bike, I had the dealer remove the mufflers after hearing them. They where not much louder than the stockers. Can't say if they would have sounded better with age.

I bought a used set of stock mufflers on EBAY with some baffle work done for $40. They sound good to me. A quick fix for the way too quiet OEM configuration. I'll listen to some real slip-ons this summer and decide if I need to spend more cash. Would a dealer do a Stage 1 with these pipes?

Hey can anyone can tell me if there is a difference between the HD Screamin Eagle catalyst mufflers 80463-08 and regular HD Screamin Eagle Touring Muffiers 65259-00. What would it hurt if I put HD Screamin Eagle Touring Muffiers 65114-98 on my 06 ultra.

I have the 64903-99 slash-down one-piece mufflers. I got them along with a SERT and Stage 1 on delivery. They have a deep sound but not as loud as true duals. I want to be able to hear my music. They look great too! I do hear occasional mild popping on deceleration, even after getting a custom dyno download, but it's not obnoxious.

I have the 98 B's on mine w/ short slash billet end caps, nice deep sound,my buddies say the pipes sound great, can still hear the hogtunes at highway speed, not real loud until i really crank on the throttle, then they bark abit.
I too have noticed they have gotten alittle louder, but not in a bad way.I like them alot more than the stock slip-on's.

I went for the SE 98B's and I am dissapointed with them, they are great looking but just not loud enough. I bought them during the winter, my bad. Now I will take the summer an listen to all make of exhaust and then make my choice. my 2 cents
