Default RKC....or....RKC?
So I just gotta ask: "Who came up with the RKC abbreviation? I get EG,and even SG, but RKC can be either Road King Classic or Custom.

I thought it meant Road King Cop.I'm not sure who came up with the abbreviation, but it's definetly a confusing abbreviation.

No RKC is a Road King Classic. This was used before the RK Custom was being sold.

I know it's petty, but starting a thread: "Blank - blank my RKC" does not mean classic to everyone. Plus it causes us lowly Custom owners to open a post.How hard is it to type it out? How many things do we have to do in a day that we can't hit a few more key strokes?

I think RK Customs were referred to as RKS, as in FLHRS. (Harley's designation) Of course, everybody would think that refers to an FLHR Standard. (FLHR) The Classic is an FLHRC.

The Road King Custom (FLHRS) is in a class by itself, therefore out of respect and awe, it should be referred to by it's full name: Road King Custom. RKC will suffice for the RK Classic.
