Thanks for posting the Pic DBCooper. as for stapping the gym back to the luggage rack I just don't like the look of that. I know that may sound crazy but just think it would look cheezy.. Besides that is what my wife suggested so now I can't do it.

I use a TourMaster Cortech Sport Motorcycle Tail Bag. It is sleek and has zip out side expansions.

I have an Ultra Tour bag and really like it. It is a bit bigger than the GranTour and a bit cheaper but I would say the Grantour is an excellent bag also. I met the guy that designed the bags for Kury at Daytona a couple of years ago, real nice guy. IMO Kury makes some of the best bags availible...but the ain't cheap.

Ups delivered one yesterday. I got it from Eastern with free shipping for $140. It doesnt have plastic clips anymore so they shouldn't break. If you have a passenger backrest it will velcro around it and it has a lumbar pad for a backrest. It's good size with several pouches and comes with a rain cover and a combination lock and cable. It also comes with a under seat strap so you can strap it down to the passanger seat if you don't have a backrest. If you have a rider backrest you can turn it around and hook it over it and it will sit on the rear seat or rack. I think it's worth the money

Hey Trock, yes I saw it that one too and thinking that may be the best price I will find.
Sailnjay i agree they make some really nice bags.. Last year for Bike week I bought there brand new "Grand Tailgator" bag. the quality was awesome and really big.also has a telescope handle and wheels like a piece of luggage. Here is pic of it on my bike.

I've got one that I used for 2 trips. I liked having it on the bike so much, I bought a Tour Pak. Once you get used to having that storage you really miss it when you don't have it.

Its a great bag, comes with everything you need, including a rain cover. I can be mounted on back seat & then used as a back rest, or mount of it on the luggage rack.

I bought mine a year ago from Eastern Performance. Very good quality and I use it on a regular basis. When riding alone it makes a nice back rest.

I have the Kuryakyn Grand Tour Bag and like it. It's a well made bag, bought for around $129 including freight off of eBay. I worked well for a weekend trip for just my stuff, had room to spare.Regarding your laptop, they come in different sizes so not sure how it would fit.
