So out of place? Thats what I first thought. Then realized my back was out of place cuz of me bending down to reach the stock bars on my SG like a crotch rocket. I put the Cyclesmith 13" bars on mine and now Im not bendin down and I actually have more stability. The length of the bars helps out trying to steer everything in front of you!! And here I was a couple months ago saying I would never do it, it looks dumb....blah blah blah. Call me a hypocrite........
I'll tell you what fatigued me. Sitting on top of my Road Glide and leaning forward and down to reach the bars. I put a seat on that lowered me 11/4" and set me further back 1". 13" apes and now I can put 600 miles a day on easily!
At 6'6", They are in my future as well. 13 inch bars do not look out of place to me. I don't think that many people go higher then 12.5-13 inches. Just spent alot of money on the bike so the apes will have to wait a little bit. You bet they'll be on the bike in the future. Ride well.

I am only 5'10" and I love my 16" on the RG, before my elbows got real sore from the stock bars, now I can ride all day with no pain. Everybody is different but it works for me and I don't think they look "out of place at all"
I would agree with you Manish,Just couldn't make myself go with 16".Could have had them for same theprice as the 13".Oh well to late now, there on.Just not finished yet putting everything back together. Will post pic when complete.
