I took the baffles out of my mufflers. They fit right in the head pipe. Lined em up flush with the end. Then slid the muffle back on. The 113 would even be more of a roar. It just runs so much better. I always wanted a dyno with the standard Rineharts and the performance ones. Now I don't think I even need one. No more sputtering at all.

I was looking at those baffles for mine, with the 113" they should sound awsome if they are as good as you say!! What part number are the ones that you got, 2004? They go in the head pipes don't they? And you took the baffles out of the mufflers right? Look forward to hearing how they sound!!

I'm glad you like them. I love the way they sound in mine too, and the performance gains are huge. Funny, I pulled mine out last night and installed the performance baffles, took a little ride and laughed my *** off at how lame my TD's sound and perform again. But I think I'll have better luck selling them with the performance baffles that the Big City Thunder's installed. Haven't bought new pipes yet but I'm leaning to wards the Vance&Hines Big Radius in black.

So you have drill the pipes to install those baffles? I would have a real hard time drillin' a set of pipes that cost as much as Rineharts. Maybe one day if I decide to get a new exhaust I'll try that route first. Until then, I'm very happy with the sound of my pipes.
If you're not happy with the sound of the Rineharts because you think they're too quiet, you don't do enough long trips with interstate ridin'. The stock Rineharts are pretty damn loud when you're cruisin' down the interstate at about 80mph. I know, I know. You're gonna say, "You shouldn't have to go 80mph to have the pipes get loud." My point is that you don't ride long enough in a high enough RPM range to get that perfect Rinehart sound. I don't give a **** what the guys at the local Bike Night say or think. I'm not out to impress everyone else with the sound of my pipes. I think the Rineharts sound bad *** the way they came, and they work great for the type of ridin' I do.
I'm glad you're happier with the way your pipes sound now. I'd really like to hear a set with those baffles installed. If they do offer better performance and better sound, they might be worth lookin' into at some point.

RE: Rinehart's and Big City Thunder!!!!!!!!!
I'm the last one to care what people think too. I just could never find that good deep, throaty, loud sound till I installed these.
I have already done a 400 mile ride and just never thought the standard Rineharts ever got the sound I wanted at 20mph or 100mph. Yes I did go 100mph.
A friend of ours got in a bad accident last month. He was riding and a lady cut him off from 2 lanes ove trying to make it off an exit. He went flying over his handle bars. He is okay believe it or not. The lady told the cop she didn't even see or hear him. He now believes that loud pipes save lives!!
