Guess who manufactures that "more proven" H-D GPS unit...............that's right..........Garmin. The Harley units are overpriced, older generation Garmins.

I looked at going both ways. The Harley unit is not very visable, and can not be taken off the bike and used in a car or truck. My Zumo 550 has a windshield mount that will talk to you and give directions, It has a security mount system for the bike and it can be linked by bluetooth. I did not want to do that because I can read the directions on the screen and the screen is large and easy to read. Bldr

My RK doesn't have the option for HD GPS, but even if it did I would pick the Zumo. Much more versatile

It's been said, but the HD radio GPS is small screened and not very visable. Go with the Zumo
