Default Nolan Helmets- Blue tooth

My Rep. came out today and showed me the new design flip up (not new design) Nolan helmet with blue tooth capabilities. What a sweet design. I'm not a big helmet person at all, but I think I have to get one of these for long trips. I tried it with a Motorola phone and the reception was great. It also will interface with the Harley system,Nav and I pod withBlue Tooth. Anyone out there have one and used it with an Ultra set up? I need to brush up on all it's capabilities, but it seems like something we should stock. I could see it being very useful on long trips if you need to keep in contact with work etc.

The Nolan N Com system is interesting communication tool.

We have used on since they became available.

Ours is linked to a Zumo 550, and a Verizon Bluetooth phone (emergency use only).

Versitle and useful

Good Luck

I just bought 2 "blueant interphone" bluetooth cell phone/intercom set for my wife and I. Works GREAT, on my V-rod with LOUD EXHAUST (CFR) at 80mph the person on the line cannot hear anything but my voice, and comments have been clearer than using phone normally. It not only syncs with your phone but also with another blueant, that way on trips with the roadglide my wife and I can talk. I found the best price on ebay, shipping was a little slow took about 2.5 weeks but highly recommened if you do not want the "wired helmet to bike syndrome"

I thought that there would be more respones to this thread than there are. From theriders that I see as I travel about, the great majority do not appear to be "connected" to the rest of the world. IMO everyone needs to turn the world off for a little while. If you can't get on your scooter and ride for a couple of hours without being available, then maybe you need to re-evaluate your priorities. Seriously, how many things must be responded to RIGHT now? If you're doing business deals while riding your bike, I don't want to be riding close to you. That's just as bad as cagers and cell phones. Distractions lead to stupidity. Motorcycles are a great joy to ride, but they leave no leeway for error. Sorry for the rant, but I see so much stupid driving, and riding, by those who think their time is so much more important than the rest of us. BTW great little saying there Father!

Scoeth

Thanks for your input.

Some of us need to have the ability to take calls from family due to health and other reasons.

Your are entitled to your opinion, but opinions are like a part of the human atonomy, everyone has at least one.

Enjoy

I can't speak for the bluetooth part but I love my Nolan 102 flip front. Most comfortable full helmet I ever wore.
