Default Handle bar wobble at 30 to 40 mph

Can anyone help? Dealer put new tires on my 06 ultra. I have a wobble the handle bars around 30mph. They said this is common and that I just did'nt notice it before. Has anyone heard of this?

IMHO...Sounds like BS to me... I've never had that problem. Check your air pressure. A low front tire will begin shaking at about that speed....

My 06 Ultra has never had a wobble at 30-40 MPH, I guess I haven't noticed it either. Must have been sleeping till it was over. Now I can tell the little lady if I get killed at 30-40 MPH sue the crap out of Harley because they knew about my wobble and didn't fix it or tell me about it. That's almost as good of BS as Helium in the tires for $ 7 to $ 10 a pop, I guess it makes the bike lighter and improves gas mileage too.

I too, think that is BS. The tires are either under inflated, out of balance, or out of alignment. Take it back and demand they investigate it, and fix it right. Or check into another dealer or indy. Best of luck.

Yeah, my Road King Classic did that when I let the air pressure get too low in the front tire once. Won't letTHAT happen again.

front air pressure should be 35# you may need to have the neck bearings torqued.

"They said this is common and that I just did'nt notice it before. Has anyone heard of this?"

Number 1) THAT IS NOT NORMAL
Number 2) The dealer must think you are a complete idiot.
Number 3) Tell the dealer to shove his business up his butt.
Number 4) Contact MOCO advisethem of details
Number 5) most important, never walk into that dealership again.
