travis, I seen the heat rap on a bagger, it actually looked good, but its not my taste, I justdon't see why someone would want black pipes

 

LOL... I hear ya, Leo. LMAO. The reason I think the wrap might look good on my bike is after some tie, it gets this grey color to it, and since my bike is black pearl, it may look sweet... Of course, all this could be settle if ya want to give me that "ugly" black pipe on your bike, LOL...

 

I've been curious about the durability of the black pipes, seems like most of you have had good luck. You know what this means don't you? I'm gonna have to black out the whole bike now!! Think the wife would mind if I wiped out the savings account?..[sm=violent053.gif]

 

Ever since my bikes chromeexhaust was ruined by someone spilling a mixed drink,and it got cooked on,I have had black exhaust.Have always used high heat paint,it lasts foryears and is very easy to repair.

 

You own a Harley and still have a savings account? How??

I did it first on the softy to see how it looked but it is not the same.....

I guess it all depends on the look you want to achieve. Chrome is great, but black gives the bike a more agressive look.

I just did the same, had my V&H ovals stripped and ceramiced black. I love the look

 

I ran a black FatCat for over two years and Sewerat has it now. He could tell ya how it looks, but it was not far from new when I sold it.

I'd had a few black pipes... THunderHeader, FatCat, BoarZilla, and now another FatCat.

was at Chicago HD the other day and the owners bike was there I thin it is 06 or 07 SG and it is all blacked out. And the exhaust was taped. So whoeve rthat was that asked it looks incredible... I would go it just like this guy did, but man I could only imagine the cost of that... but I guess if your the owner then you dont pay for a lot of the things that you do to your bike...
