Default 1984 flhtc evo aftermarket exhaust ?

I have an oppurtunity to buy a 1984 flhtc evo Electra Glide, enclosed chain, hard bags, trunk, and fairing. Totally virgin bike with only 19,000 miles and I know the original owners. This bike would be an awesome buy. I have beengoing through the books to see what kind of accessories there are for this model and the one thing I discovered is that there is no exhaust systems listed for this bike. I'm looking for true duals if possible. If not I guess slip ons would be my second choice.Wouldlater model exhaust fit minus the mounting brackets? Redoing mounting brackets wouln't be a big problem. Any input would really help. Thanks.

Awesome find. Change the pipe that has the exhaust mounting bracket under both saddlebags and you can use any current exhaust system. Post pics in Evo forum when you get it. Good luck.

Are you sure it's an '84 with an EVO, I thought my old L85 was the first EVO. Might want to check the year again.

Yep, it's true - my chopper started life as a stock 1984 FXST with evo motor, chain final and electric and kick start.

My bad, thanks for setting me straight. I was under the impression that the '85 FLHTC was available in shovelhead or as a late 85 EVO. I know I used to have problems unless I stated Late 85 when ordering parts.
