exhaust flange question
need some imput to put my feeble mind to ease. installed my new ridestr8 tonite (lets not even go there) and of course you have to loosen the exhaust mounts and the flanges at the heads so you can pull it away a little bit to r/r the frame bracket. as ya'll know you can get to one nut on each cylinder woth a straight socket but the second nut on each cylinder is at a weird angle and you cannot get a socket on it, much less torque with a torque wrench. i tightened evenly and the torque one nut down and tried to match the second one by feel. don't noticed anything popping, etc. but a little nervous about leakage and if so, is it a problem. any ideas/suggestions? don't want to f^%k up 20k worth of bike...wife would kick my ***!!! thanks for any suggestions!!!!

RE: exhaust flange question
I use a 1/4" universal with 1/2" deep socket on most if there's room and a 1/2" swivel socket there isn't. Fairly inexpensive way to put your mind at ease if you are worrying about it. If there as a problem with yours (intake leak) you should notice it. Should also check every so often to make sure it isn't working it's way down (off) the stud.
