Default Shoei Multitec

Last weekend, I tried on one of the Shoei Multitec helmets. Really like the feel and quality of the helmet. Anyone have any thoughts on the helmet and some place to get a deal. They are really expensive.

Shoei makes great helmets. Here is a review.

As far as price is concerned, you have a $5 head, buy a $5 helmet.

we bought a pair last year. first time i had ever worn a "full face type" helmet. it ended all helmet buffeting issues that i had with my half helmet. i try to wear mine in all bad weather situations. i like mine alot but still wear the shorty more. the wife doesn't care for the closed in feeling.

ride safe

charlesk ,,,,,,,

if you do get one of the new Shoei Multitech helmets, J&M has built a special headset for it ,,,,,

This new headset is only available as installed at our factory in Tucson at the present time ,,, but it is worth it ,,,,,,

$139.99 for the headset, plus whichever "P" series lower section cord to need for your audio system ,,,, and install labor is $30 each helmet ,,,,,

Not my thing, but my Brother, Sister-in-law, Wife and Mother all use them and love them. Everyone I have run accross who wears them swears by them.

Love this helmet, kind of hard to get a deal on the high end stuff.
Check this place out, I have a $20 coupon if you want it. I buy all my gear here.

The modular helmets are great for traveling, and Shoei is one of the best ones out there. I just got a new MultiTec at a great price from www.parts411.com and recommend that you give them a call for a price. They were the best price I could come up with.

I'v used Shoei and HJC...HJC makes as good a helmet for less cash as far as I can see. That said, the one you mention is supposed to be a very good modular.
