They came out with a new version called the pro super tuner. The older version known as the SERT will be obsolete. No big deal, if ya can get one go ahead and get it.

There is a new "super SERT" that HD just came out with....costs more, but is suppose to be more easily tuned. I have the older SERT on my 08 Ultra and am not worried about continuing to run with it.

It's a lot of money for something you may or may not use. The SERT would be good if you're doing some major engine mods but if you're only planning on basics like A/C and exhaust, there are a ton of other products out there that are much more user friendly. Plus, once you hook up the SERT to your bike, you're stuck with it. Buy just about any other fuel management system out there and you can keep it if you sell your bike. I have the SERT on my 07 RKC and wish I had saved the money and gone with something else.

It's being replaced by a Super SERT that is marketed as being more user friendly and has a data logger that will make it easier for a technician to diagnose a problem. The older will always work, they just aren't selling it anymore. I got one of the last SERTsfor about 300 bucks, nice results.

I asked about one yeterday and was told the same thing. He said the difference was that you could get more high performance if you wanted it out of the super tuner. T.
