Do it, and do your wheels while you're at it. You'll never regret it. They're easier to keep clean and they look a ton better. You can get a great deal on sending your wheels to ChromeProsPlating in Corpus Christi, TX. I did. Oh, and I've done it on the last three HD's I've had. Like Nike says, "Just do it!" CCRyder

aren't the cow bells as you call them chrome already ? I know on my 87 flst they were stainles steel and had to buy chrome ones but on my 07EGC they apear to be crome , I'm asking as I'm getting ready tochangeout the lowers and don't want to take it apart again thanks

Chrome front end, chrome inner primary were amongst the first mods I did (or I should say the dealer did for me). I had $ off the labor as well (negotiated it into the purchase). It is a very sweet look. But like others have said, it leads you to want to chrome the rims (or get something to replace the fugly ones that come on the Streetglide...)

That purple is sweet. Is that factory?

Also I didn't know Texas has lowered EPA laws, but if you look at post #28, i gave some links to some chrome platers in Texas that do good work.
