I'm looking for a new set of bars for the RG and was wondering if anybody had tried these on their bike? I need something with a little more rise (1-2") and a little more pullback (2-3") than stock and these seem like they might fill the bill. Thanks.

 

Have those on my Roadie....love em!!! You won't go wrong in buying them. Very comfortable and places you in a comfortable riding position. One thing....make sure to use a one piece top clamp when installing them. The shop that put mine on about 5-years agodidn't and boy was Isorry, bars snapin half and I went down.

Have a new pair of 517's on now and made sure I put a one piece top clamp on.

 

I 2nd that on the top clamp. If you buy from Wild1 they will tell you the HD part# too. John was nice and told me everything I needed. Clamp is like $15.

Just put mine on last week and can't believe how comfortable they are. Went riding for 4 hours this past weekend and no burn.

Like a seat, you have to find the bars that work for you.

Thanks for the input guys. Great tip on the top clamp. I can't imagine what it must have felt like to have your bars snap! Man, it gives me the ******* just thinking about it.
