Is my only alternative to getting good clear loud music out of my 04 Ultra the High dollar amp and speaker kit from H-D? My buddy's got the Amp and speakers and it sounds really good but DAYUM they want a lot of money for that stuff! what are my options?

I tried the one from harley still sucked. Go to best buy and get you a good set of speakers. Alot cheaper and sounds much better!!!!

 

I have a friend with the HD upgrade on a Classic, I have HOG Tunes and nothing else. Mine sounds better than his does, and the speakers are only 119.00.

Also, from what I understand, the amp for the HD system goes under the tour pac, so you would never be able to make it quick detachable. That would be unacceptable to me, as I like to have the tour pac off except when traveling.

If you want good clear clean LOUD sound get the Hawg-Wired system. I am a dealer and offer memebers 10% off of the system. For less money and a significant upgrade you can also go with the speakers only from Hogtunes or hawg-wired as others have mentioned.
