Do these factory radios on the new SG's have XM built in?
It's offered as an ad on option. Around $500.00 if memory serves me right. I'm pro Hawg-Wried, and Hog Tunes both. Just depends on what you are after, and how much you want to spend. I have Hawg-Wired amp/speakers on mine, and Hog Tunes speakers only on my Dad's. Both sound great, but mine is much louder, and more clear. I've only had one problem. I keep running my battery down. Now that my bike radio sounds so much better than my garage radio, I play it for hours on end, and my bike won't start the next day! All jokes aside. I am impressed with the low amp draw on the Hawg-Wired system. I lost track of time, and played it for about 3 hours the other night. Much to my surprise the bike started right up.

Will just replacing the speakers be enough?

That's really hard to say. It all depends on what sound you are after. I've tried pretty much everything there is out there. Here is a link to a post I did a couple weeks ago after an install.

got a q for the hawg wired guru
im running a sony deck with the hawg wired speakers it was an improvment but i would like to amp the system seeing i only have the 2 front speakers do they offer just the 2 channel amp or the 2 seperate amps alone ? all i can ever find is the whole kits fir the 4 channel system

i had a kenwood amp sitting around it fit at first on top of the radio in the faring but stuck out about 1.5" too far and was pushing on it i wasnt gonna force it to close so now im looking for a smaller amp

im looking to clean up the sound at higher power (louder)
