Default Headlight ring and fairing question

I just installed the frenched headlight ring (with NO gap ), but something is wrong. My headlight is really crooked in the ring. One side of the light is 1/4" outside the ring and the other is 1/4" inside the ring??? the light seems to be aimed straight, so i am guessing the whole fairing is crooked? Any one else have this? any suggestions?????

Most likely the ring is crooked on the headlight. Loosen the clamp and see if you can even out the margin. I can on mine. Good luck

Think about it, if the headlight is aimed correctly, then there will certainly be a difference from side to side. The laws dictate headlight aiming and it should point more right than straight ahead. Could this be your discovery?

Turn your adjuster screw until lamp is straight, chances are it wont move the beam much.
