RE: V&H Fuelpak install
Started at 7, cleaned up and typing by 7:30, except I am NOT done, and had to put it back together. Those two allen screws are in there tight. The first one came out, tight, but no problems. Then came the second one. It started to turn, then I felt it strip. The piece that holds the nut in place is plastic, and the nut stripped it out. [:@] Took that plastic piece off, no chance of getting it out without damaging it further. I guess it is off to the dealer tomorrow to order one of those pieces.
Other than that, everything looks very easy, and I should have been tuning the bike about now. This really sucks![:@] Not the worst thing to ever happen, not even close, just disappointing. I was anxious to get it on and working. Oh well...

Not sure which 2 allen screws you are talking about ? If you are talking about the 2 tiny screws that hold the plastic cover on the fuel pack.... they are small phillip head screws, not allens !!

No, not the screws on the fuelpak. No reason to go there. The two allen screws I am talking about are the ones that hold the ECM in place. The piece behind that is plastic. You have to take those off first, then screw the fuelpak into place. Had to order that piece today. That piece of plastic is $14.95. Will take a week to get here. If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.....
