actually you did the right thing, you wont find a more comfortable bike than a harley touring bike. and a comfortable bike gets rode alot more.

 

I'm 21 and ride a 99 RK classic

 

How on earth are people affording these expensive bikes at such young ages? When I was in my younger twenties I was still doing good keeping lights on, the rent and the phone bill paid...and that was when gas was about a buck a gallon! A recession as deep as we got now wasn't barely even conceived of except by those who lived through the Great Depression.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love that young people these days have taken an interest in these machines. I'm impressed!

 

Got an ultra at 18, customized the crap out of it at 19, had someone run me over on it just before turning 20 [&o]

 

33 here and loving the Ultra.

All it means is that you got smarter alot quicker than they did! I'm 43 and on my 3rd bagger. RK, RG and now my Ultra.

 

28 and just picked up 08 ultra

 

29 when I got my 02 FLHP-I, 2 years later, and easily the best purchase I've ever made.
