RE: footboard extenders
I've been using the Kury extenders for a couple of years on two different bikes and have not seen any weakness at all. From time to time on a long ride, I will stand up on my footboards for a few seconds to give my backside a bit of a rest and have not seen any flexing or bending - and I weigh somewhat north of 250lbs...

I'm closer, gotcha by about 50 lbs, no problem with mine, plus .... I have the Soos model. Quick background, I'mnot a degreed engineer, but I do manage an engineering department and work with these guys all the time. I was worried when I ordered them that there would be a lot of stress on the bolt because the old lady steps on the board to throw her leg over. Because of the design of the Soos, I see no difference in the leverage because adding the spacer against the frame with the oval piece below pretty much made it structurally the same as stock. So, I say tell your dealer to go pound sand.
I know I'm smallish....I wasn't breast feed long enough.

You know by gorilla standards, you are a bit on the small side.

I'm a 300 lb. gorrilla and I just rest my size 12's on um.
