Great set up.

 

We HAD the first two spots reserved for bike parking until some dopey office broad made a big stink on how they were playing favorites and she never got a good parking spot.

 

The hospital has a 7 story parking deck. There is a bike area in the front, but the back is more convinient for me. Luckily the head of Security rides also and has decreed we can park in yellow stripped zones. So me and a bud got our private corner on the first floor. My Eglide and his Valk.

 

We are asking for motorcycle parking now, all we need to find is some govt req that requires it and there will be nothing for them to say.

We can park in the building if there is hail on the way.

 

I get to park in ther ramp at work. BEhind the concrete columns so nobody can hit it. The guards only let a few of us in there and the people that **** them off park outside on a little pad in the sun all day.

Doesnt' the building have a lobby? You have to park under a tent? WTF is up with that!

I will tell you what worked for me at FT Hood. I Never asked just got 2 signs made at local sign shop "motorcycle parking only"
I bought 5 gallons of yellow paint and a roller.
On a Saturday night about 10 pm I went to work and swept off two parking spots really well. Started dumping paint and Put the signs up. Sunday night I went back with tape and Black paint and made lines for bike's. It worked for the two years I was there and as people come and go it just gets accepted as the norm.
