Now that I have added the streetglide fender trim to my RG, I want to relocate my license plate underneath the taillight. I want to keepthe stock bullet signals, so the Kuryakyn #3000conversion kit is out. Does anyone know if I can just get the SG rear turnsignal bar and bolt it up to my RG? This would solve my dilemma, and let me get the Kuryakyn #3163 curved license plate bracket that WILL bolt to the stock SG turnsignal bar.

I know about the JP Cycles bracket, but its flat and I prefer the curved one, but this may be my plan B.

Is there somewhere online I can find part #'s for the SG turnsignal bar?

 

yes you can use the streetglide turn bar I have done this mod myself.

i think part #53702-04A is what you want

 

The SG "directional bar assembly" PN is 68629-05--this is the chrome part that includes the turn signals, license plate light, etc.--no license plate frame, turn signal lenses, tail lamp lens, etc.--just the chrome piece. This PN is from the rear turn signal & license plate relocation kit, PN 53702-04--it's what I used to replicate the SG fender/facia/LED and license plate below the tail light when I did the mod a couple of years ago.

harleypingman... sorry to bother you again... UPS just delivered my 68629-05. are there any other parts listed? this is only the chrome housing for the signals, nothing else. Looks like I still need the license plate light and wiring... if nothing listed, I gotta go to the dealer anyway maybe their book will show it. I don't think I have any problem cutting/splicing the existing wiring for the signals, I just need something throw some light on the license plate.

 

yes ou can spen a lot of money at harley or you can buy a little barket from soft brake and do the same thing

are you in Mt. Airy? Do you have the softbrake bracket? if yes/yes what are the chances I could meet you and check out your setup? I didn't know they had one, and their website has a pic of a damn brake pedal for everything...lol.
