Is it possiblr to change handlebars with the "throttle by wire", looking to put a little taller bars on my 08

Yup put touring pull backs on my 08 SG, its easy to do just do a search on the forum there are many post for this issue and if you have any question ask DAWG on here he is the gurue on this topic!!
