05 RK Custom EFI
Am looking for an HD and ran across a RK custom efi today with about 3500 miles. Can get probably for 13,500. Is perfect shape. Was actually looking for a Dyna Super Glide Custom as I just want something I can hop on and ride. Love the Street Glide too. Anyway, love the RK Classic but have not ridden a custom. Not sure I like the beach bars so would change those out. Can anybody give me some input? Seems like a good price but don't want to get something I will regret later. Thoughts???
Thanks!

RE: 05 RK Custom EFI
Chuck,
Yes this is my first HD. Have been off the street for a while but have been riding dirt and moto. Am 48 and time to get back tot he street. Am looking at theDyna Super Glidde Custom and RK Classic. Bit of a difference between the two but both great bikes. I just want an HD to hop on and ride for fun. Don't see a lot of long trips yet. Live in Arkansas and we have lots of mountain areas to ride and beautiful scenery to view. Will most likely be on more 2 lanes and back roads versus interstate. Saw the RKC and checked it out. Was actually at a Honda dealer and saw it sitting outside and stopped in.
Thanks,

RE: 05 RK Custom EFI
I am adding a RK to my toy box. When I go 2 up or take a 3 hour ride, I am thinking the RK will be the ride. When bar hoppin, I think my WG will get the nod... We'll see..... IMHO the RK is easier to ride than the Dyna BTW... Dunno if it means anything, but it seemed to me I saw more women riding touring bikes than Sportsters. I think maybe the reason is they are easier to handle.
