My 550 came today from pcnation.com - still not quite sure which direction I'll go for mounting it on the scoot, but regardless, this thing is cool!

Until you decide on a mount try the one that came with it.
Butt ugly but very functional.
You are going to love the Zumo. Get yourself a 4 Gig SD card and load
up 1000 of your favorite songs. Load some of your favorite pictures also.
Visit Zumo Forums here.
They are a wealth of information.

Been thinking of getting one myself. I like the "Home" feature. Post back what you think after you use it.

NoKenDo - When you play mp3's throught the Zumo, does the voice function (ex. turn in 1000') come through the bike speakers?

Thanks.

Yes. If you run a patch cord to the AUX on the radio it comes through which ever setting you have the bike's toggle switch at.

I'm jealous, it's on my wish list.

I really enjoy riding on the backroads, and more than once I've found myself guessing which way to turn to get gas. Plus tha ability to share routes with your riding buds is pretty cool.

There are so many other cool features on the Zumo that you will soon find it indispensible.

I use the fuel gauge and speedometer on the Zumo which is far more accurate.

I recently took a 2200 mile road trip using the Zumo, much of which was two lane roads off the interstate. My downloaded route was spot on, and navigated me without error.

I've put several custom POI's into the Zumo which add to the functionality. Go to http://www.poi-factory.com/

We mounted the Zumo using the Power Bar setup from Powerlet. We sprung for the XM Radio antenna also mounted on a Ram mount.

Good setup.

Small issue with XM if you are using a bluetooth speakerset up in your helmet.

The Zumo suorts tootorts MP3, Navigation andPhoie via Bluetooth, but NOT XM. You need to hardwire the XM into a audio source, not bluetooth.

If XM is not an issue, no worries. Never the less, the Zumo is a great package.

Enjoy
