Default RE: Just got my Zumo

Just looked on their website and its $269.00. Although I am not using the XM or the Bluetooth options on my Zumo, I am not quite seeing why I would wanna drop this much to do so little.
The way I have it set up now (powered from the Aux cable and having the sound run through a patch cable) It works fantastic and now I rarely use the FM or Cd player. The CB still works great, voice prompts work great and the MP3's work great. If I wanted to use the XMportion all I would need is the suscription and the hardware (which is $100? right)If I used the Bluetooth portion wouldn't it just run off my headset in my bluetooth helmet? Sorry this is more thinking out loud and trying to figure out what J and M is selling. If I have gotten something wrong I am sorry and await someone to clarify the product.

My 550 came today from pcnation.com - still not quite sure which direction I'll go for mounting it on the scoot, but regardless, this thing is cool!
Hey Ron, Wish I had the $ for a Zumo. Tax man got mine!

When he returns the money, I'll be getting mine.

I have a 2008 RKC and was interested in the Zumo - is anyone using in helmet speakers with this bike and if so, which brand?

I don't use a radio on a motorcycle, so I replaced my radio with my Zumo & use Scala's Team Rider bluetooth system. The Scala lets me hear the Zumo voice commands, make & receive phone calls, & provides bluetooth intercom with my wife when she's with me. It's not stereo, but the Scala system includes two in helmet speakers with good volume & I've never been able to run down the batteries on a long days ride.

One of the best accessories I have purchased. I use it on the bike and since it comes with mounts and wiring for both I use it in my truck as well. You can also use it as a handheld if you choose.
