Default AMP Remote power Source?

Just installed an amp on my flhx and was wondering where to pick up the remote power from. I thought I would run the wire into the acc. plug under the seat and use the dash switchbut for some reason the amp is always on. Ideas?

take a test light and find a power source from the back of the radio and use a t-tap, you should have a wire that turns the radio on when in ACC mode and run.

Just installed an amp on mine last week...run a feed bacK to the battery..16ga....with an inline fuse...was easy to do...didn't have to remove the tank either.
