I'm glad to see here that the organizer will work with the luggage rack even though the HD website says it can't. Now I have another item to buy after all.

use 3- M tape only not the Home Depot crap....

If thevelcro adhesive failsapply DAP contact cement to both surfaces (back of velcro and lid) then stick it back on.

did this after work!!!!!!!!! nice and tight, perfect.....

HD provides double-sided tape. I used the bolts from my luggage rack to secure the organizer. As they say in the business, "It ain't goin' anywhere." All you have to do is to drill four holes into the organizer and bolt it up w/ the rack. Works like a charm. Oh, buy the appropriate sized washers to place inbetween the head of the bolt and the organizer.

You can try urathane window sealent sold at auto body supply stores, it works great.

I used the 2" Velcro after the stock tape failed. So far so good. I will do the bolt trick if this fails.
