Default Wheel question

Will the wheels and tires from a 2008 Street Glide fit a 2007 Ultra? Any differences in the axles, rotors...anything? Thanks

You have to change out the bearings and spacers. The 2008 have 25mm axles while the 2007 have 1 inch. I put a 2008 wheels, nine spoke gloss black, on my 2007 street glide. Changed the bearings, spacers and rotors , fits great.

Probably not without some messing around. I know the bearings are different between the '07 and '08 ultras because of the ABS option, regardless of whether you have it or not. I learned this from American Wire and Wheel when shopping for wire wheels for the '08. So I'm guessing the street glide isn't any different unless it doesn't come with ABS as an option.

Default RE: Wheel question

I have been looking for this answer for some time now, it seems that 07 wheels have different part numbers than the 08s, even though they look identical. I think it has to do with the bore in the wheel where the bearings sit. If anyone can tell me for sure that i can just change bearings and sleeve and use prior 07 wheels on my 08 i would be grateful. i have a full set of prior 07 wheels with new rubber mounted and ready to put on, but im not sure they can be made to work.
