Thanks,

The shorter windshield looks better anyways IMO and keeps the clean SG look. I'm glad I should be good to go with a 6.5". I was just wondering if I'll need a taller windshield from a different company. I don't even have a new SG yet but I'm trying to sell my 07 Deuce so I can get one. Maybe the stock shield will be fine. I'm just doing a little planning/dreaming ahead of time.

This will be my first bagger and I'm excited. I sat on an 09 SG the other day and knew I had to have one.

Thanks again.

I put one on my RG and didn't like it. The buffeting was worse than having the HD 12" sindshield. I might add that when I sent it back for a refund like they told me I could do, they only gave me 75% of the sales price as credit. They told me it had been used! Well duh, how else was I going to try it out.

6'2" good posture because there is a plate and screws in my back... I've not been lucky with a 6", 7.5" 7" and 9.5". AHHHHHHHHH. I think I need a 8.5 recurve.

Just an FYI, I talked to the Klockwerks guys last year at their booth in Rapid City HD during the rally, and they were just about to release the 8" smoked. Their website says it is out now.

Default Klock 8.5 Available

I bought a new Klock 8.5" a few weeks ago. It is much better than the 6.5 that I tested previously. It has been sold.
