I let my young and dumb brother in law take a ride on my Custom today. He owns a 883C Sportster and loves to ride my bike whenever he can. He has been dying to ride it since I added slip-ons, SE breather and PCIII. He was gone for about 30 minutes and came back. He said that he was on the freeway and some car wouldn't let him into the fast lane so he laid on the throttle and was enjoying the thrill of the ride when he realized he was going quite fast and looked down at the speedo and it said 115 mph! He said he was still accelerating and probably could've gotten up to 120 mph. Now, I am not crazy enough to do this and am kind of glad he did it so I know what the bike is capable of without having to do it myself. Has anybody else had these kind of results with basically the same mods? To be honest I am surprised as to how well the bike now runs compared to stock.

Also FYI, if anybody has been waiting or wondering, Power Commander just came out with the software that will let your PCIII up your rev limiter to 6200. I ordered it the other day for $40.

Last summer I did a 15-20 mile SUSTAINED run at about 110mph with the wife on back We were late for a firend's wedding.

 

I did it for about 20 min in 210 East.

I buried the needle at 120 MPH on my Road Glide and it was still pulling. O and it didn't take long either.[sm=biker2.gif]

Yer's nuts IMHO. If my bro-in-law did that to my bike there would be a rumbel in the jungle. And I can garn'tee he would never rode any bike of mine again, well maybe a old Schwinn go to get some more beer.
