Smart Siren II / Pager Reviews/opinions
#31
I tried one off eBay that was $20, now it’s on there for $29... it is also a 2 wire and has no antenna. So, with that said, it plugs right in and works fine if you just want a siren and don’t mind it chirping on arm/disarm. But I tried everything in the world to put it in chirpless mode and thought I was going to wear out the ignition switch trying. A neighbor has the same one, also could never get it into chirpless mode either. If you want to add a pager, these sirens will not work for that. But for a siren it’s fine.
The HD siren has 3 wires and an antenna... the pager communicates with the security system on the bike through the HD siren, and vice versa. Also switching between chirp/chirpless modes takes just a few seconds with the HD siren.

Smart Siren 2 Help
I installed the Smart Siren 2 on my RGU. I also bought the rechargable pager. Problem I am having is after 1 hour the pager shows I am out of range. This occurs even if the pager is about 5 feet away from the bike. We have changed out the pager and the siren and still does it. Anyone ever experienced this before?
