Ridingunder 90 mph is a good idea but not the answer, bike shouldn't wobble, atany speed.
Some good points mentioned above.
What does your dealer say, just curious?

...................never know when you'll need the speed (and yes, I've had valid reasons for it in the past).
I'll bite. What are your "valid reasons" for doing 90+ mph?
Ever had a crazy cager trying to chase you down waving a baseball bat out of a window?

That's why Roll on the throttle and get the hell out of dodge. Was on my CBR for that, he felt that I made the left turn behind him too fast (10mph), so he stopped in the middle of the road, got out, and started to take a swing at me. I swerved around, and he set off in pursuit. I hit the throttle and left him way behind, got off at the next exit, and got to watch him fly by looking for me. Putt off into the night and on home.

Read your manual. HD states not to exceed 85 MPH. There is a reason for that and everyone should know it by now.Yes the bike is capable of sustained speeds over 85 or 90,but not safely. The batwing fairing, tire pressures ,tour-pak,lower fairings etc combine for example to make the ultra prone to high speed wobble based on wind shear over85. Your cruise control is inoperable over 85. Theres a reason for that too.

[sm=biker2.gif] hogbag07 has it right.Especially when it comes to the steering head bearings. I had my RG went into a violent wobble that I think that the hand of God was the only thing that kept me from being splattered all over the center wall on I-85 in Atlanta. After that I checked the bike over good & found that the steering head bearings needed adjusting. After they were adjusted it handled like a different bike. Although a few months down the road I found the left side of the rear swingarm had broken on the left side. Thisbike is a 2000 RG and was the 2nd. pre 02 bagger that I saw this happen on.

There is a lot of BS on this post but I won't call anyone out. People are stating beliefs as facts.

At 95 mphhis bike should not wobble. Check the air pressure, your load distribution, and your bearings and ride on!

I've pushed mine to 115, when the time comes that it has the power to run faster. Then I'll push it again. I've never seen any wobble.
Before anyone bashes, I've riden bikes over 170 mph before. I hope mine will hit 140-150 eventually.
