Default Kuryakyn Passenger Armrests

Kuryakyn says not for use with the removable tour pak. Does anyone know why? Or have you done this anyways? The part number of the armrests is 50-6376.

I think the armrests may swivel easily so it might be a PITA to take the pak on/off with them on and might just be the lawyers talking. If that's the case I'll put them on anyway. But with that amount of money for them I want to make sure.

It's a mounting issue - they bolt up through the TP mounts, so it'd be a real PITA (if not impossible) ta install 'em with a removable TP....

Just what the man above said I have a set and they bolt through the Tour Pac and TP frame, my wife loves them with the drink holder.

Thanks for the replies guys. That would make it a might harder to mount them and at that price I don't want to pick them up incase I couldn't modify them. After she found out how much they are the wife decided she didn't want them. Good thing she doesn't know how much I've spent on the bike so far.

FYI looks like Kury is coming out with armrests that will go with the detachable TP Spring 2008

Cool, thanks for the heads up. Looks like something I might go ahead and get. Will have to wait until she starts to get annoyed with the stock one now that she knows how much they cost.

George.
