I like the denim in the silver and black. I would have a new if money allowed me.

 

Looks like it needs buffing out to me.

 

I personally love the silver denim (not available this year) with black pipes. Black Denim looks good also and I would have chosen it this year if my wife didn't have a denim black FXDF. So I opted for a Vivid black FLHX.

I personaly am not crazy about the denim blue and thought the Denim Red looked terrible on a SG. Denim Red looked awesome on a Street Bob but not so good on a bagger. Not sure why. Maybe just to much surface area and it had a pinkish cast.

I think there may be some truth about Denim sales. My local dealer got 4 Street Glides in on the same day. Had a Denim Black prior to the gloss bikes coming in. The denim black is still there a month and a half later and all of the others sold in 6 days. Salesman isn't worried. Said it will sell, just takes the right person. But they are careful not to order too many denim. I personally love the looks of the denim black and it was a tough decision on which one I was going home with!

 

Does Anyone Like or Dislike the Denim Street Glides?

Yes. I like or dislike them.

I know, I know, not funny. Just feeling a bit smart alecky. To answer the intended question, I like them in certain colors. Black and pewter are the only colors I like. As others have pointed out, some of the denim colors just look like they need buffing out.

 

Not a fan. At all.

 

I had a 07 pewter denim SG and really liked it. very easy to care for hid dirt and
road film nicely. would get it again for sure.

easy to take care of...so far..seems to hold up to wear as well as any other paint

 

My 03 Standard in Pewter Denim. It's an 08 Street Glide paint set.

 

If I liked them I would have bought one.

 

i love mine, and it IS easy to take care of, easier than the gloss paint if you ask me
