Default Garage Door Opener

I know this has been posted before but what a slick option to have on the bike! No more reaching into your pocket for the remote. Hit the high beam and the door opened! Sacrificing an old remote, a little wire and some cheap labor (mine) and it worked.

I've bought the unit but haven't installed it yet. I think this will be one of my favorite add ons.

I bought mine a couple months ago and I love it. It's so awesome to be able to just roll into the garage at the end of the day without fumbling for a clunky remote.

How does the flash of the high beam trigger the relay to open the garage door.
Sounds like a good idea, I think I'd like to do that myself.

thanks

Did mine from ideas found here. Sacificed spare remote. Opened it up and soldered wires to it. Velcro to the frame under the seat and put a momentary push button switch through an exsisting hole in frame. works good from driveway but being under seat seemed to cut down the range. I dont mind....

I bought an extra remote for my garage door openerand put it in my windshield bag...$ 39 is a lot less that Harley wants for their remote switch.
