Default Anyone remember my Zaino pics last summer???

If not here they are. This was two coats of Zaino on my 06 Street Glide last summer.

Well here is the 2008 version. Got ambitious yesterday and did a good wash and a couple coats of Zaino on my 08 Street Glide. Won't have to do it again until next spring.

Nice, is there something special about zaino or do you only wash the bike once a year? I do like that color, nice pics also.

Check it out and read about it here.

Top shelf auto polish. It is not a wax. I've been usung it it for a few years. First heard about it on a car forum back in 2001.

masterblaster: No I wash my bike when it gets real dirty. I only do a full detail once a year. Zaino lasts. I put two coats on my truck over a year ago and it is still holding up.

I did my own research on detailing products, and in my mind Zaino is #1. I placed my first order for products last week and will arrive Monday.
I plan to do my 02 truck first and get the hang of it, then do my bike next.
Can't wait to see the results on both!

Nice pics. But I'm okay with some of the basic stuff from my local store. Kind of getting extreme spending so much money on certain polish type products.

Not if it lasts. I'd rather do this once a year than 2 or 3 times a year like I was with Meguiars.

I agree that Zaino is the best, it is all I ever use on my clear coat Black truck & my Luxury Blue HD.

Not only does it look super, it lasts damn near forever (that's the main reason I use it)

I am assuming that you guys are using the clear coat zaino? Just looked at there website and was wondering if you guys use their wash before you apply the polish?

Yes you use the Zaino for clearcoat. I use the Z5 Pro which is for clearcoat and for swirl marks and light scratches. Even though I didn't have any, I got it on the advice of Sal Zaino (the owner). He said the difference between the Z5 and the Z2 is minimal and would hardly be noticable.

And as far as wash you use regular Dawn before applying. It takes off any old wax and polishes but will not harm the paint. That is just once before initial application. After that you can use their wash or any other quality auto wash solution. Personally I use Meguiars Deep Crystal.
