Default Where to mount tool bag on RK?

Has anyone mounted a leather tool bag on their RK? Doesn't seem to be enought distance between headlight and front fender for typical front-end mounting location like on a Softtail?

Has the OL taken all of your space in the bags? I've got a nice WindZone kit in my right saddlebag. No mounting needed.

Yes, it's currently in the saddlebag and I don't have a tourpac and wanted to center the weight. On two-up trips, it would save space in one of the saddlebags. I will probably end up putting it in one of the bags on the back rack. Just wanted to see if I was missing something obvious. It almost fit UNDER the sissy bar rack, but was a little too thick...that would have been a perfect spot as that little space is wasted.

Do NOT mount it as a fork bag -- it looks good but not a good idea.... i havea scratched front fender (luckily not dented)

He was lucky...I know of at least two here on the forum who've dented their front fenders from mounting it between the light and fender. DO NOT MOUNT IT HERE!

Thanks guys for saving me that problem! I thought it looked too close to allow the fork to compress. New to the RK thing, so trying to figure a few of these things out. Much forum experience available !
