Course it shouldn't leak through the cases. But the warranty folks are gonna want to know when it started and and who was fooling with it just before it started and why didn't someone notice it leaking right away. You don't say what year or how many miles.

So your case is leaking and not the jugs? Sure it isn't a base gasket or something? If it is your case, you only did a 103 so the case shouldn't have been tinkered with.

Good mileage for a new bike! Have you had a discussion with your purchasing dealer yet? It sounds like you're well within the two year warranty window. If it's leaking thru the cases and not around them, I have a hard time seeing how they could say it's something that you did.

I had a bike that had a similar issue but in the rear drive housing. It was leaking gear oil all over the back wheel continuously. The cast aluminum was porous, to fix it, the case had to be split and the area that was suspect had to be peened with a hammer and punch to seal the leaky pores. It was a major pain in the *** cleaning the wheels and wiping the oil. Harley should step up and take care of it. It's a defect in the engine casting. Nothing you did wrong, its the nature of the beast. Some castings are subject to this issue. It's a factory defect.

Just the same its still not going to cost you to have them look at it.

You maybe able to scoot by with them not voiding the sacred "W" but they have to see it for them to tell you.

You could always go into it like the cat got your toung!

Had it happen on a $2Mil+ yacht on a MANN diesel. There was no warranty either. Cash replacement. Now you don't feel so bad do you? Take it to the dealer, it happens, they'll hook you up.

.........I see Rick always has a smart *** remark in other threads as well
What kind of remark do you expect when you post "these Harleys are a big waste of fukin money" to a group where the majority are happy with their purchase?
