Default new bike colors

Went to the dealer today to check out a black bagger. They had a 08 Ultra in black and white. The black isblack pearl and the white is white gold. Caught my eye since it looked nastolic to me. The bike was back in the garage, so I did not see it in the sun, but it looks like it has a metal flake in it. The black looks a little gray. Any opinions on this color option? Ever see one on the street? Thanks

I've been waiting on something special for my 100th post, I guess this is it. A friend of mine has one this color. When I saw it online I wasn't real impressed, but in person in the sun it really looks good. When you look at the black under full sun there is really a lot of color flecks in it. It is really a sharp color combination, you should ask the dealer if they'll wheel it outside for you. Maybe you'll get lucky.

....I haven't seen that particular color..but I sure hope it's better than the other 08's I've seen...2008 will surely be remembered as the absolute WORST batch of colors HD ever had during one model year....

Hey, I think the 08 colors are great!!!! Especially mine;but,I saw the bike you are talking about in a shop today and it was drop dead beautiful. If I did not have the Crimson Red Sunglo Two Tone and had seen this... it would have been a toss up. Very classy.

Yes, I've seen it on the street and in fact see it in my hallway every morning when I go to work. The color is best when the sun shines on it, the white start to take on a 'golden glow' and it is the best colors I have seen for a Harley, apart from the bright yellow from a few years back. You are right about the black, in some lights it becomes kinda dark grey.
For what that is worth, it comes with my highest recommendations!

Nothing wrong with the 08 colors (Ok... purple haze is a bit "festive")
