I installed my kit Tuesday and went on a 200mi. ride today. 202 miles on excactly 5 gallons = 40 mpg. Thats what I was hoping for. Great power and sound too.

Really curious about the method used by "iclick" setting top and bottom throttle with the motor off...is this with a properly warmed up engine as well?

You have to set 0 and 100% throttle with the bike RUNNING and fully warmed up. I don't know where"ignition on(motor off)" came from but that's not what power commander folks recommend. The bike has to be running to set these settings.

Oh BTW the reason I came back to this post wasn't to beat up the throttle settings any more but to report that with my slightly modified program I posted earlier my fuel mileage has pretty much settled in at 36.8 miles per gallon. That was the average over the last 3 fill-ups. Included riding to work for a week around town and the rest through hills, turns, and 45-68 degree weather with a lot of 70-75 mph travels. Bike still runs excellent and I expect the MPG will still get a little better as the weather warms up, but for as well as it runs right now and showing no heat issues, I'll take it as is!

08HD, how was it getting the pcIII in there? I heard you have to cut out some of the plastic if you have the ABS which I have also. I am thinking of just getting a download myself, but was just curious of how it was to get that to fit in there.

Where did you runinto the data that the bike doesn't have to be runnining to set the throttle settings? I have not seen that info anywhere before here and this is a note from the installation sheet that came with my PCIII for my 08. I don't get that the bike doesn't need to be running from this: Note: This bike has fly-by-wire throttle.Because of this, make surethat when setting the throttleposition that the bike is fullywarmed up.
