I'm almost "official" - pick up SG tomorrow
The big day is finally almost here! I'm scheduled, if there are no delays at the dealer, to pick up my 2008 Crimson Red Sunglo Street Glide w/cruise, ABS and detachable tour-pak tomorrow! The delivery coordinator told me yesterday the shop was running behind, but he thinks my bike will be ready. I'm not new to motorcycles, but this is my first HD. They tell me to expect to spend 40-45 minutes going through the bike - that'll be a new experience for me. Last few bikes, it was here you go. Have fun. And off I went.
I know the only thing I'll be focused on is getting my new baby out on the road, so I ask for your collective wisdom here- what things should I make sure I focus on during the "orientation?" Some things are obvious, such as control locations and so on, but what's important that might not seem to be at the time? Thanks!

Make sure the top front of each saddle bag does not rub up against the painted peice in front of them. You will notice there is very little clearance, for example the left bags right front top cover is less than an inch from the painted peice behind it. Also make sure when you open and close the saddle bag tops that you dont rub them against the same peice.
