Default True Trac Installed, quite a difference!

I installed a True Trac stabilizer tonight. I was beginning to experience the "wobble" or rear wheel steer coming through long sweepers, especially when lettting off the throttle and then opening it up again. Bike is like it is on rails now. Best thing is, install took all of a half an hour and did it with the bike sitting on the kickstand.

I can recommend this, it works. Big difference now in all turns, no more pogoing.

Dalton, glad to hear it works like its supposed to. Just wondering why you went with the True Trac instead of the the Alloy Art or the T.R.W.?

Most stabilizers work on a very similar principle. A bracket that attaches to the bottom of the tranny with a link to the frame. Any part of the frame will provide for stability so I went with the one that has a proven record, and most of all, was easiest to install. Didn't feel like pulling my exhaust again for the TWR and others that link to the swingarm bushing area. I coulda done the install in 15 minutes if the phone didn't ring. It is really that easy. That being said, I think the results from most any similar stabilizer will be the same.

I had heard about clearance problems, but with a stock ride height on my Ultra, went out and scraped the right boards and no problems. It tucks up under the frame pretty well.

Good to hear. You older guys need the extra stability to keep the bladder from leaking and the colon from spazzing from the wigglies.[8D]
