Got my kit yesterday, Thanks for the quick turnaround Tracy!
Installed it last night on my 08 Ultra, took me a little over 3 hours.

What took so long was that I spent a good hour looking for a way around having to remove exhaust components. Eventually, I ended up removing most of the system to make room - both mufflers, rear header pipe, and crossover pipe. That was quite a pain in the rear. FYI: I have stock headers with Rinehart slip-ons.

Installing the kit itself was quite easy. Build quality of the components is excellent. The directions are quite good, Steve's install guide at the beginning of this thread did help a lot though. Thanks Steve!

On the ride into work this morning, the bike felt "different", that's a good thing. I've had the Ultra for about three weeks, almost the whole time, the rear end has always felt mushy, for lack of a better term. Kind of like the rear tire was under-inflated (it's not). This came through in sweepers and on the highway.

That mushy feeling is pretty much gone now, the bike feels tight.

Add me to the list of people who recommend this kit.
Thanks again Tracy!

Thanks,

After hearing about this product from friends all over, I ordered one and installed it.

The product itself is good quality material and the machine work is excellent, the powder coat finish is flawless....although I did scuff mine up a bit in one corner struggling to reattach the brake line bracket that just didn't seem to be cooperating as it should have. Oh well, the scuffs are under the bracket.

Followed the install guide from here, which was frikkin GREAT!!!

I found that with my stock exhaust, I wasn't required to remove the pipe on the right side to change out the bracket. Loosening it was enough to give me the clearance I needed...with the tools I have (being a retired mechanic, I've got a rather complete set of toys).

My road test might not be as telling as some since I'd also put a pair of new tires on the bike (Dunlop Elite 3's).

But....

I did take it on a @300 mile trip through mountains I'm very familiar with and found that the downhill sweepers that have given me handling problems in the past at higher speeds are now a piece of cake.....the bike tracked straight and true.

Also found that during freeway rides, when passing semi-trucks I'm no longer buffeted and blown all over the road.....the bike feels much more solid and tends to keep it's lane position.

I'm VERY happy with the product and found Tracy to be a pleasure to do business with.

I just installed mine last night, it took me just over a hour and was quite easy. I have Rinehart TD so I only had to remove rear two bolts and removed nut from bracket by engine. I have 17,800 miles since April 6th and my commute to work (64 Miles) was much different. The merging ramps were solid and I think I feel added vibration but I'll take that with the improved handling.
Thanks Tracy for quick delivery, good instructions and awesome workmanship.

Can you still use a jack like a red craftsman after the install? The TWR looks like it located up and out of the way, while others are hanging down below.

Yes you can, it does not interfere with operation of the jack.
